I was raised in the heartland, surrounded by fields, gentle slopes, and quiet lakes. Nature has always shaped my worldview—teaching me about growth, change, and renewal.

Helping others came naturally and was deeply modeled in my upbringing. Before earning a B.A. in Psychology and Counseling from Crown College and an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, I worked in healthcare and served as a mentor and lay counselor within the Christian faith community. Today, I continue to offer mental health education in faith-based settings alongside my clinical work.

Having faced my own life challenges, I understand the importance of guidance and support in the healing process. My experiences inform how I connect with and care for my clients—helping you, the expert of your own life, identify barriers and foster lasting, meaningful change.

I’ve provided mental health services across a range of settings—residential, intensive day treatment, outpatient, and school-based—for children, adolescents, adults, and families. This diverse experience enriches my current virtual practice, where I offer teletherapy to clients who prefer the flexibility and privacy of online care.

passion meets purpose

Outside of the therapy session, I am a curious soul who finds deep fulfillment in the balance between shared connection and creative discovery. I thrive on the moments that bring us closer—whether that’s exploring the outdoors with loved ones, uncovering the hidden artistry of a new culture, or simply connecting over a great meal. My own days are sparked by the 'magic' of making things from scratch, whether I’m tending my garden, baking, or lost in a book. I believe that life’s most restorative experiences are often found in these simple rhythms. I’m always eager to hear what sparks your own curiosity or how you find your 'quiet joy'; I believe our work together is not just about healing, but about discovering the vibrant life you wish to create.

I offer a client-centered, trauma-informed approach that integrates methods such as Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and Family Systems and Attachment-based frameworks. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where you can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and restore balance and meaning in your life.
